Will Pres.Trump bring BPO back to America?

The short answer is no. The long answer is more complicated. When Donald Trump won the presidency in November, the Philippine BPO industry was in awe, fearing they would lose their jobs. However, this is not the first time a politician wanted outsourced jobs back in USA. In 2014 Sen. Jerry Moran, appealed to bring back outsourced jobs, including the BPO industry in the Philippines.
It's now 2017 but the car factories are still in Mexico, Iphones are still made in China and call centers are still in the Philippines.  The big questions is; why can't Americans get them back?

It's because of cheap labor. Third world country labor is much cheaper, plain and simple. Let's take call centers as an example, an average Filipino call center agent makes 20,000php that's $400 (around 12,000php outside Manila ) an American representative's base pay is $2822  that doesn't include other incentives like transportation allowance and meal allowance that would bring the cost close to $3200. They get 8-10 Filipino workers for 1 American worker. And Filipinos are excellent customer service reps, they're patient, they have a neutral accent so it's an easy choice for companies really.

Besides Americans don't want to answer calls, they consider it as a trash job, they'd rather do something else than listen to other people's grievance

But let's just say Donald Trump does manage to get the jobs back to America,by imposing high taxes to American companies doing business offshore, what then? People from third world countries will lose their jobs that's for sure , however, someone has to shoulder the cost of higher labor and it will be the American consumers who will shoulder the increased expenses.  That means, higher prices for most American brands like Nike, General Motors, AT&T etc... since they rely on cheap labor to provide cheap products to the American public, with their high mortgage and expensive lifestyle, I won't be surprised if they experience another market crash like 2008.

Now, will Donald Trump really do it?I doubt it and if he does, Mexico and China will suffer first, Philippines will be the last, since is USA is losing more money in manufacturing and illegal immigration.

Duterte is right, Philippines will be fine.
